Our mission

Every day, someone, somewhere, loses something they can't get back. It might be years of family photos, a business's client records, or a half-finished novel. Sometimes it happens on a lost phone or a failed hard drive. Sometimes it happens quietly: a cloud service is hacked or shut down, and the person doesn't realise their only copy is gone until they go looking for it.

Moments like these are stressful, disruptive, and often expensive. The good news is that they are almost entirely avoidable. With a little planning and a few good habits, most data loss simply never happens.

After a career in corporate IT, I noticed two things that kept coming up. First, most people have never had any formal training in how to use their computers, phones, and online services safely. They've picked things up as they went, from friends, family, or trial and error. Second, because of that, many people believe they're doing things the right way when the opposite is true. They think they're backed up when they aren't. They think their accounts are secure when they're one reused password away from trouble. Nobody told them otherwise, and there's no reason they should have known.

That's why I started this business: to give everyday people and small businesses the same kind of protection and know-how that large organisations take for granted, explained in plain language and set up to fit the way you actually live and work.
