The short version
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only things we store in your browser are two small pieces of local storage — one to save your checklist progress, one to remember your cookie preference — both of which stay on your device.
What we currently store
Strictly speaking these are localStorage entries rather than traditional cookies — they live in your browser, are never sent to our servers, and are readable only by this site.

What we don't use — yet
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind. If we introduce analytics in future to understand how the guide is used, we will:
- Update this page to list exactly what is added and why
- Ask for your consent through the cookie banner before any such script loads
- Respect a "Necessary only" choice by not loading it at all
How to control or clear this storage
Because nothing here is essential to view the site's content, you can clear it at any time without losing access to the guide — you will just lose your saved checklist progress and be asked the cookie question again.
- Chrome / Edge: Site settings → Cookies and site data → Clear data for this site.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → find this site → Remove.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
